THE WINNER WILL ENTER THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2023 IN LIVERPOOL
“A Voice for San Marino”, now in its second edition, is the festival initiated by the Secretariat of State for Tourism, Posts, Cooperation and Expo of the Republic of San Marino in collaboration with Media Evolution Srl. And San Marino RTV, Radio and Television of the Republic of San Marino. The selection took place in one big category for the smallest country competing in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Combining territoriality, the participation of new proposals and the presence of established artists: all in the name of musical quality and the ability to A Voice for San Marino to be a springboard for emerging artists on the international music scene.
More than 106 semifinalists (see links), but they will be only 22 artists who will compete during the finale.
La jury of the phase semifinal is composed of:
Mimmo Paganelli: independent producer and music consultant. Artistic director of the EMI. He collaborated with Rino Gaetano, My Martini, Ivan Graziani, Lucio From the, Francis De Gregori, Renato Zero for the RCA, Vasco Rossi, Francis Guccini, Roberto Elders, Franco Battiato, Angel Branduardi, Ivano Moats, Titian Iron, Mango, Edward Bennato, Stadium for the EMI.
Christine Grimandi: international performer coach, casting director. National and international performer in major musicals such as Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Sunset Boulevard, Betrothed, Sound of Music, Grand Hotel. He has worked with leading conductors, directors and choreographers in Europe and England. He directs the Global Arts, the online Academy of musiclife.live.
Emilio Munda: producer, composer and author for The Flight, Umberto Tozzi, Francis Renga, Nina Zilli, The nomads, Michael Bravi, Paul Meneguzzi, Dear Jack, Twins Various , Valerio Scanu and for other talent artists such as The voice, Friends And Xfactor. It has conquered several Discs Gold and of Platinum, twice in a row wins the podium at the Festival from Sanremo.
Lia Fiorio: coordinator in charge of Radio San Marino for a few months, a lifelong radio speaker and entertainer, commentator in Italian of the’Eurovision for San Marino RTV Since 2008 (with Gigi Restivo she holds the record for number of evenings), TV programme presenter, she is also involved in the creation of radio formats. She has a knowledge of the history of Italian and foreign pop-rock music thanks to her work experience in the radio field.
Senator Cirenga: singer-songwriter, linguist, songwriter and Eurovisual videoblogger, active on the Italian music scene since 2012 with different projects and exploring different genres. In 2021 he released his debut album, which placed at the #2 of the ranking Alternative/Indie and the #10 of the Top Albums chart on iTunes Italy. In the same year, he released the single Summer Thief. In 2022 he signed an exclusive publishing contract as author for BMG Italy.
Tickets for the evening of Saturday 25 February 2023, which will be hosted by Jonathan Kashanian with Senhit will be broadcast live from 9 p.m. on San Marino RTV, are available on Viva Ticket. The jury president of the final will be Al Bano. (Red&Blue)
