‘Una voce per San Marino’, Al Bano President of the Jury at the Finalissima

A voice for San Marino kicks into gear and moves swiftly towards the final stages

SAN MARINO, 23 JAN - Tuesday 24 January on air at 20.55 on Rtv a special report, edited by Maria Letizia Camparsifrom the victory of Achille Lauro in 2022, the spotlight on the festival that chases talent and will again this year award the winner with participation in the next Liverpool Eurovision Song Contest as representative of the Titan.

Meanwhile, a novelty: Al Bano appointed President of the Jury at the 2023 Final. Unrivalled voice, charisma, planetary successes and the strong bond of friendship with the Republic make him the perfect choice.

Exceeded this year the a thousand entries, from 31 countries. More than double the number of the first edition. Among the participants, Italian and international artists; some are debuting and some are trying out again, talents who - gradually - will compete with the big names of music, this year vying to make it to the final. And important names are already being announced. We shall see. In the meantime, there is the third casting underway, a phase that will end on 29 January, plus an extra approximately mid-February. Coinciding with this were also organised masterclass held by industry professionals. Various focuses: Do you want to sing “inside the records”?; Why do you do what you do?; Vocal technique; Collecting in music rights; Mental coaching.

So the excitement is growing to make it to the five semi-finals next month. And the desire to be there on stage at the final, scheduled for 25 February, is rising. High stakes: San Marino RTV, Media Evolution and the Secretariat of State for Tourism enthusiastically renew the challenge. Which is definitely good for the country.
