“A Voice for San Marino” is the festival born from the collaboration between Media Evolution Ltd, the Secretariat of State for Tourism, Posts, Cooperation and Expo of the Republic of San Marino, e San Marino RTV, the Radio and Television of the Republic of San Marino. The selection will be in one big category for the smallest country competing in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Combining territoriality, the participation of new proposals and the presence of already established artists: all in the name of musical quality and the ability of Dreaming San Marino Song Contest to represent a springboard into the international music scene.

Says the Secretary of State of the Republic of San Marino, Federico Pedini Amati: “In view of the success in terms of participation, image and audience of the first edition, the Secretariat of State for Tourism strongly wished to confirm the project “Una voce per San Marino” (A voice for San Marino), the music competition that the Republic of San Marino organises with the aim of finding the best possible voice to defend its colours at Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Thanks to the partnership with San Marino RTV and Media Evolution, we will once again propose this event, which will take place in two stages: a first selection phase that from this year will be hosted (on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death) in the auditorium that San Marino dedicated to Little Tony, and a final that, like last year, will be broadcast live on television. The great novelty is represented by the absence of categories, big and rookies will take the same route to the final act.”

Entries were submitted by those aged 16 years and over with no restrictions on nationality or choice of language in the interpretation of the piece submitted for the competition. The training and casting phase is underway and will take place over two days. During February 2023 there will be 5 semi-finals, 4 from the selections and 1 repechage, ending with the final on 25 February 2023, where a winner will be identified and will participate in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest as a representative of the Republic of San Marino.
